DEPLOYMENT OF MICROSOFT TEAMS : LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Learning is an indispensable tool that nourishes our minds and soothes our soul. It is a necessity for both personal and professional career as it makes us capable of understanding and handling things in a better way. In the ever - evolving landscape of education, digital learning has emerged as a game – changer, offering a plethora of benefits for both students and educators.
Digital revolution has enabled the adoption and proliferation of digital usage in every walk of life including pedagogy and invaded the teaching and learning community owing to its versatility in knowledge assimilation and sharing. The Government of India started emphasizing on ICT and use of online education as a part of compulsory teaching-learning process at tertiary level. This has enabled a pedagogical shift from traditional classrooms to virtual learning environments which brings a host of advantages, fostering a more flexible, personalised and engaging educational experience.
Amidst all the technological complexities and implementation difficulties, we are marching forward in training the academicians in ICT enabled teaching and delivering the best through online.
The need for a perfect LMS - MS Teams Deployment
The pressing need for online teaching put us into the journey in search for a cost effective and secured LMS. “Chance favours prepared minds”- as the saying goes, the online mode of teaching exercise was introduced in the academic year 2020 – 2021 with a techno philanthropic support. We are using MS Teams for Teaching- learning practise, Webinars, Student’s Induction Programmes, Board of studies meeting, Academic Council meeting, Governing Body Meeting, Meeting of the Examination Committee, Association meetings etc.
