INTERNAL COMPLAINTS COMMITTEE (ICC)


                    “Internal Complaints Committee” (ICC) is constituted in Sri Sarada College for Women under sub-regulation (1) of regulations of University Grants Commission of India in Gazette Notification Dated 2nd May 2016 for Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions, Regulations 2015. The existing body already functioning with the same objective (Anti -Sexual Harassment (ASH) Cell ) is reconstituted as the ICC. As per the guidelines of UGC and the Supreme Court Internal Complaints Committee to provide a healthy and congenial atmosphere to the students of the college. Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) deals with issues relating to sexual harassment and its prevention and prohibition


Policy


                    ICC stride to prohibit, prevent, and deter sexual harassment by organizing programmes, counselling, surveys and to provide the procedure for redress of the complaints on sexual harassment. It strives to create and maintain a work environment in which students are treated with dignity, decency, and respect. The environment should be characterized by mutual trust and the absence of intimidation, oppression, and exploitation. The institution will not tolerate unlawful harassment of any kind. Through the enforcement of this policy, the institution will seek to prevent correct and disciplined behaviour that violates this policy.
